Make It a Grateful Day
Paul J. Meyer of Leadership Management International defines attitude as “a mental disposition toward events, people, or situations that controls behavior.”
Adversity is Transformational
The old saying, “This will either make you or break you” carries a lot of truth. Every contact we have with adversity gives us the opportunity to grow personally and professionally and to forge a great character. It is our choice to accept the challenge and proceed forward or succumb to the pressure and surrender to defeat.
This is Your Time to Shine
Many of us have endured the OPEC oil crisis, hyperinflation, stagnation, Black Monday, the Asian financial crisis, the Dot.com crash, 9/11, the Gulf War, the Great Financial Crisis, and many other blows over the years and we survived and some even thrived through the mess of it all
Why You Should Have an Others-Centered Focus

If you develop ALL the attribute required you automatically succeed in the outcome. Goal setting, strategizing, and making a list of actions is not enough.
Are You Working on It or Doing the Work? Part 2
Now let’s dive deeper into the principles and practices of Valuegenic Self-Leadership and the science behind it.
Are You Working on It or Doing the Work?
I have asked Peter Demarest, one of my mentors and a world-class pioneer in the field of neuro-axiology (brain science + value science), to write a series of articles that look at the challenges of achievement through the lens of the science.
The Greatest Challenge is Going from Doer to Leader
The greatest challenge I see every day in the marketplace is individuals being promoted to a management or leadership position because of their great ability to get the job done. They are the best doer (i.e., technician, salesperson, or worker bee).
